Setting
Round Spring Campground is a year-round facility located within Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Missouri. The forest consists of white oak, shortleaf pine, sycamore, and cottonwood along the Current River, which runs past the sites. Campers have access to paved roads and parking spurs, picnic tables, fire rings, grills, and flush toilets with showers available from mid-April to mid-October. An amphitheater hosts summer ranger talks. On-site and nearby recreation includes canoeing, tubing, swimming, fishing, and hiking on trails like the Chubb Hollow and Ozark Trails. Guided tours of Round Spring Cave and historic Alley Mill are located short distances away.
