Float Camp Picnic Area sits under a canopy of mature hardwoods along the edge of the Current River, 4 miles from Doniphan. Built for day use, the site features a group pavilion for up to 75 people with electric hookups, tables, and grills, alongside first-come, first-served individual picnic sites. Amenities include accessible vault toilets, drinking water, trash collection, horseshoe pits, and volleyball courts. The swift river draws visitors for canoeing, floating, swimming, and fishing. A campground is located a half-mile away for overnight stays.
