Setting
Ray Behrens Campground sits on the southeastern shore of the 18,000-acre Mark Twain Lake along the Salt River in north-central Missouri. Spanning rolling hills, the campground features three loops—Deer Run, Little Bluestem, and Cedar Ridge—where all campsites include electric hookups. On-site facilities include flush toilets, showers, playgrounds, and an adjacent marina with a boat ramp. Outdoor recreation centers on boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, and hunting. The historic village of Florida, birthplace of Mark Twain, borders the lake, and his boyhood home in Hannibal is 25 miles east.
