Setting
Lightfoot Landing is a smaller campground situated on the shores of Pomme de Terre Lake in the Ozarks. The park offers 35 campsites with electric and water hookups, including one accessible site, along with a shower house, dump station, picnic shelter, playground, and horseshoe pits. On-site water access includes a boat ramp with a courtesy dock for canoeing, powerboating, and fishing for muskie, bass, catfish, walleye, and crappie. Nearby off-site attractions include the Pomme de Terre Multipurpose Trail in Bolivar Landing and a dirt racing track in Wheatland.
Getting there: From Springfield, MO, go north on Highway 13 to Bolivar, MO. Take Highway 83 northeast to RB Highway. Follow the RB Highway east to the Lightfoot Park entrance.
