Setting
Sparrowfoot Campground is situated along the Grand River Arm of Harry S. Truman Lake among the rolling hardwood hills and rocky bluffs of western Missouri. The facility features 83 campsites with electrical hookups (56 with 50-amp and water, 27 with 30-amp), two group shelters, flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, laundry, a playground, a dump station, and a boat ramp. The lake's standing timber provides habitat for crappie, catfish, and bass. Bicyclists and hikers can access Katy Trail State Park in nearby Clinton.
Getting there: From Highway 13, travel about a mile east on SE 450 Road and follow signs into the park.
