Setting
Orleans Trail Campground sits along the heavily forested Ozark hills of Stockton Lake. Divided into North and South sections, the park offers 118 total campsites, ranging from non-electric sites to a dedicated group camping area. Facilities include three shower houses, two dump stations, a boat ramp, a swimming beach, and an equestrian trailhead with horse holding facilities that connects to the 15-mile Stockton Lake Equestrian Trail. Boating, sailing, and angling for bass, crappie, and walleye dominate activities, with full marina services located right next door.
Getting there: From Stockton, Missouri, take State Highway 39 south approximately 1/2-mile to R.B. Road. Take a left and drive approximately 1/2-mile. Turn right on Blake Street, continue about 1/2-mile, and follow signs to the park area.
