Longshoal Park sits among the rolling oak, hickory, and cedar bluffs of the Ozark Plateau along Harry S. Truman Lake. The campground offers 44 sites with 50-amp electric and water hookups, 38 sites with 30-amp electric hookups, 12 primitive sites, and a reservable group picnic shelter. On-site facilities include a swimming beach, playground, boat ramp, and the full-service Longshoal Marina. Nearby attractions include Harry S. Truman State Park and the Harry S. Truman Visitor Center on Kaysinger Bluff, which provides exhibits on Osage River Valley history and dam views.
Getting there: From Warsaw, Missouri, take Highway 7 for about 8 miles northwest. Follow signs into the campground.
