Bledsoe Ferry Park is a year-round day-use area located directly below Harry S. Truman Dam on the Ozark Plateau. Surrounded by oak, hickory, and cedar bluffs, the park overlooks the 8,800 acres of standing timber in Harry S. Truman Reservoir, a habitat for crappie, bass, and catfish. While it has no overnight campsites, the facility features four large picnic shelters, flush and pit toilets, drinking water, accessible fishing docks, and an accessible boat ramp. The Harry S. Truman Visitor Center sits nearby atop Kaysinger Bluff.
Getting there: From Highway 7, travel north on the Dam Access Road for 2 miles and follow signs to the day-use area.
