Thirty-two-site campground on Seagull River bordering Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, 57 miles northwest of Grand Marais via Gunflint Trail. Mix of walk-in tent-only sites and RV sites up to 45 feet. Vault toilets, potable water via solar faucets, picnic tables, campground host, pay phone, firewood vendor. Four wilderness entry points for canoeing and fishing (walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, lake trout). $24/night via Recreation.gov. Wildlife viewing includes bald eagles, osprey, loons, and moose.
Getting there: From Grand Marais, Minnesota, take Gunflint Trail (County Road 12) 57 miles north. Gunflint Trail ends at Trail's End Campground.
