Chippewa Loop is part of the Norway Beach Recreation Area, set in a stand of red and white pines on the south shore of Cass Lake. The loop offers 46 campsites, 30 of which include electric hookups, supported by flush toilets, showers, and drinking water. A public boat ramp is located nearby for accessing Cass Lake's 16,000 acres of water, ideal for fishing walleye and muskie. Adjacent attractions include the historic CCC-built Norway Beach Visitor Center, local hiking and bike paths like the Migizi Trail, and boat-access hiking on Star Island.

Getting there: From Cass Lake, Minn., take U.S. Highway 2 east for 4 miles, to the Norway Beach Recreation Area. Turn left and follow the campground road until the signs indicate the Chippewa Loop.
