Setting
Steuben Lake features two rustic campsites on the western shore of a 151-acre stocked lake in the Hiawatha National Forest. Site 1 is a 75-by-75-foot wooded lot for 24 campers, while Site 2 is a hilltop clearing for 16 campers with a built staircase leading to the water. Both sites accommodate trailers and include primitive toilets, but there is no drinking water. A public back-in boat launch near Site 2 supports fishing craft for walleye, pike, bass, and perch. Both campsites provide access to swimming areas.
