Leg Lake features two rustic campsites along the shores of a 40-acre lake in the Hiawatha National Forest. Site 1 is a large, semi-open space on the west shore built for groups of up to 24 people with trailers, serviced by a primitive toilet. Site 2 is a smaller wooded spot on the east shore for eight people, situated next to an unimproved back-in boat launch intended for day-use craft. The lake holds northern pike, bass, crappie, and bluegill. Drinking water is not provided on site. General supplies sit two miles south in the Thunder Lake area.
