Campground details
Setting
East Lake offers three dispersed campsites along the wooded shores of a 53-acre inland lake in the Hiawatha National Forest. Site 1 sits elevated on the western shore with space for 24 people and up to three families. Site 2 fits a single family on the northeast shore, while Site 3 rests on an open point best suited for tent camping due to narrow access roads. Primitive toilets serve sites 1 and 2, but there is no drinking water. An unimproved, shallow, back-in boat launch handles carry-in craft for bass and perch fishing. Site 3 provides the lake's primary swimming spot.
