Setting
Pines Point Campground is set among towering white pines and rolling hills along the White River in the Huron-Manistee National Forests. The facility includes 27 family campsites and a dedicated group loop featuring five sites that accommodate up to 20 people each. Each campsite comes with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Drinking water and flush toilets are provided on-site, but there are no electric hookups. A walk-in canoe landing provides access to the river for fishing, kayaking, and tubing.
Getting there: From Hesperia, go west on M-20 for 2 miles to 192nd Avenue. Turn south for 1 mile to Garfield Road. Turn west on Garfield Road for 3 miles. Turn left and travel south on 168th Ave for 1.5 miles. 168th Ave turns into Forest Road 5637; continue on FR 5637 to the campground.
