Set in a wooded section of the Hiawatha National Forest, Carp River Campground sits directly adjacent to its namesake wild and scenic river. The facility offers shaded campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, with vault toilets and drinking water spaced throughout the loops. The river supports trout fishing alongside canoeing and kayaking access. Located eight miles from the historic town of St. Ignace, the campground serves as a base for exploring Michigan's Upper Peninsula and nearby Great Lakes shorelines.
