Bowman Bridge Campground sits along the Pere Marquette National Scenic River within the Huron-Manistee National Forests. The facility features a paved single loop with 16 family sites, 4 walk-in tent sites, and 4 group tent sites for up to 20 people each. Campers come for direct access to clear-water canoeing, kayaking, and fishing for brown trout, salmon, and rainbow trout. A connector trail links the campground directly to the multi-state North Country National Scenic Trail for hiking.
Getting there: From Baldwin, turn west on 7th Street, then left onto Cherry Street. Take the first right, W 52nd Street, and drive 5 miles. Look for signs into the campground.
