Located on Birch Island near the mouth of McCargoe Cove on Isle Royale's north shore, this compact backcountry site features one individual tent site and one wooden shelter. Accessible exclusively by canoe, kayak, or private boat, the campground includes a dock with a 5-foot water depth for overnight vessel mooring.
