Lake Ottawa Campground sits five miles southwest of Iron River in the Ottawa National Forest. Surrounded by northwoods forest, the facility features 32 campsites, two log toilet buildings with flush toilets, a pressurized water system, and an RV dump station. On-site historic amenities include a CCC-era day-use building with electricity and flush toilets, a picnic shelter with stone fireplaces, an athletic field, and a swimming beach. A boat ramp provides access to deep, cold-water Lake Ottawa for fishing, while the 9-mile Ge-Che dirt trail connects the campground and lake landing.
