Flowing Well Campground sits along the western bank of the Sturgeon River in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, about 10 miles from Lake Michigan. The facility offers fewer than a dozen spacious tent and RV sites nestled among mature trees and wildflowers, with select sites overlooking the water. Amenities include accessible vault toilets, campfire rings with grills, picnic tables, a group picnic area, and a well supplying drinking water. The 41-mile Sturgeon River Canoe Trail runs directly past the campground, making it a key access point for non-motorized boating and trout fishing.
