Setting
Mill Run Camping Area sits on the shores of Youghiogheny River Lake in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands, surrounded by steep, hardwood-forested hills. The campground features 30 self-contained sites alongside drinking water, flush toilets, a dump station, a swimming beach, a boat launch, and a children's play area. The 16-mile-long lake is popular for powerboating, water skiing, and fishing. Ohiopyle State Park is nearby, offering access to famous whitewater rivers.
Getting there: From Route 40 East, turn right onto Friendsville Addison Road for approximately 3 miles then turn right onto Mill Run Road and follow the road until reaching the campground. From Route 40 West, turn left onto Friendsville Addison Road for approximately 3 miles then turn right onto Mill Run Road and follow the road until reaching the campground.
