Positioned at Mile 164.8 on the C&O Canal towpath, this hiker-biker site is one of a series of trailside stops pitched 5 to 7 miles apart. On-site facilities include picnic tables, grills, and chemical toilets. Water is available at the campsite but is non-potable and must be boiled, filtered, or chemically purified prior to use. Water service is shut off seasonally between mid-November and mid-April.
