Westville Lake is a day-use recreation area along the Quinebaug River featuring a large open field, a shaded picnic cove, and waterfront views. On-site amenities include two large covered picnic shelters equipped with electrical hookups, grills, and tables, plus additional tables and grills throughout the cove. The grounds offer flush toilets, drinking water, an outdoor recreation field, hiking trails, and a launch for canoes and kayaks into the slow-moving river. Old Sturbridge Village living history museum is located nearby.

Getting there: Westville Lake can be accessed from Wallace Road in Sturbridge, which is located directly off of Main St. The Dam and Recreation area can also be accessed from West St in Southbridge by taking a right onto South St. The physical address for the Westville Lake Recreation Area is 125 Wallace Road.
