Hurricane Creek Campground sits in the rolling, wooded hills of southwestern Kentucky along the shores of the 57,900-acre Lake Barkley. The park offers 51 campsites equipped with water and electric hookups, including six walk-to sites. Amenities include hot showers, laundry facilities, and a playground. The location provides access to Lake Barkley for boating, swimming, and fishing for catfish and bass. The three-mile Lake Barkley State Park Trail and the historic Lyon County Museum are located nearby.

Getting there: Physical Address: Hurricane Creeek Campground: 25 Hurrican Creek Campground Road, Eddyville, KY 42038 From Paducah, Kentucky: Take I-24 east to exit 45. Turn right on Highway 293west and go 0.3 miles. Turn left on Highway 93 south, go 5.3 miles. Turnright on Highway 274 south, go 5.7 miles. Turn right on Hurricane camproad. Campground on left. From Nashville, Tenn.: Take I-24 west to Exit 56. Turn left on Highway 139north and go approximately one mile. Turn right on Highway 276, go eight miles.Turn right on Highway 274 and drive one mile. Turn left on Hurricane Camp Road;campground is on left.
