Setting
Smith Ridge Campground stretches across forested tracks and meadows on the Highland Rim overlooking Green River Lake. The park offers 80 campsites, 62 of which feature water and electric hookups, supported by flush toilets, showers, drinking water, and fire rings. Facilities include a playground, an internal hiking trail, a boat ramp, and a fishing pier. A swimming beach, picnic areas, and a 9-hole disc golf course are located within a mile at the local marina. Historical sites, including the Atkinson-Griffin Log Cabin, are located 13.5 miles away near the dam.
Getting there: From Campbellsville, KY, take Highway 70 east for a mile. Turn right on Highway 372 and continue for 3 miles, then turn right again onto County Park Road. Follow the directional signs to the campground.
