Setting
Kendall Campground sits on 70 acres of hardwood forest along the river just below Wolf Creek Dam and Lake Cumberland in southern Kentucky. The facility offers 116 reservable campsites with water and electric hookups, each fitted with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Amenities include a boat ramp, fish cleaning station, picnic shelter, basketball court, horseshoe pit, playgrounds, and the half-mile Whispering Pines Trail. The site provides access to a cold-water trout stream, and the Wolf Creek Dam National Fish Hatchery is within walking distance.
Getting there: From Jamestown, Kentucky, take US Highway 127 south for 10 miles and turn right just before crossing the dam. Campground is on Kendall Road.
