Bear Creek Horse Camp sits within the forested Cumberland Plateau of the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The campground features sites built to accommodate both tent and RV campers, with individual horse tie-stalls installed at every site. Modern facility amenities include electric hookups, flush toilets, and hot showers. The surrounding park network offers miles of multi-use trails for horseback riding, mountain biking, and hiking, with the historic Blue Heron Mine outdoor museum located a short drive away.
