Trace Branch Campground sits along Buckhorn Lake in the Cumberland Plateau of eastern Kentucky, framed by steep watersheds and winding valleys. The grounds feature shaded, waterfront campsites equipped with electric and water hookups. On-site facilities include a shower house, a playground, horseshoe pits, and a designated fishing area. The lake is fed by the Kentucky River and provides opportunities for muskie fishing, swimming, and water skiing. Local attractions include the surrounding trail networks, Lilley Cornett Woods, and the Red River Gorge Geological Area.
