Setting
Dog Creek Campground sits along the shoreline of Nolin River Lake in southern Kentucky's rolling forest terrain. The facility features 70 reservable campsites equipped with electric hookups and access to flush toilets. Campers can head straight to the lake's blue-green waters from their sites for swimming, canoeing, and fishing for catfish, bass, crappie, and walleye. Public boat ramps provide lake access, and several hiking trails, including the wildflower-heavy Shady Creek Trail, thread along the shore and surrounding woods.
