Campground details
Setting
Baileys Point is a large campground spread across five loops along the wooded hillsides of 10,000-acre Barren River Lake. Many waterfront campsites feature water and electric hookups. On-site facilities include a boat ramp for fishing and water skiing, two playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and an amphitheater. Two hiking paths—the shoreline C.E. Rager Nature Trail and the tree-focused Robert Foster Hiking Trail—wind through the property. Barren River Lake State Resort Park lies directly across the water, and Mammoth Cave National Park is an hour north.
