Campground details
Setting
Turkey Point Campground sits along Melvern Lake on the eastern edge of the Kansas Flint Hills, set among rolling, tree-dotted tallgrass prairie. The park includes 43 family sites with water and electric hookups, alongside two distinct group camping areas. On-site amenities include flush and vault toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a dump station, a boat ramp, a courtesy dock, a fish cleaning station, and three playgrounds. A 1-mile hiking trail connects the camping loops to the day-use area, giving access to the lake's 7,000 acres of water and 18,000 acres of surrounding public land.
