Setting
Situated just north of the Marion Reservoir Dam near the Project Office, Marion Cove Campground offers 17 primitive, non-electric tent sites. Sites 1 through 6 feature covered picnic shelters, picnic tables, and fire rings, while sites 7 through 17 are equipped solely with fire pits. Facilities include a single shared water hydrant located near site 1 and a nearby two-lane boat launch providing access to the 6,200-acre reservoir. The surrounding 6,000 acres of public land and open water support boating and angling for walleye, channel catfish, white bass, and wipers.
