Setting
West Rolling Hills Campground overlooks the 15,700-acre Milford Lake in central Kansas. Fed by the Republican River, the lake is surrounded by 33,000 acres of protected public land. This Class A campground features campsites equipped primarily with electric and water hookups, supported by flush toilets, shower facilities, and an on-site playground. Outdoor recreation centers on boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, and hunting across the surrounding public acreage. The Thunderbird Marina provides direct water access, and the Milford Nature Center and Fish Hatchery sits below the dam.
Getting there: Take I-70 to exit 290, then 5 miles to 244, then east 1/2 mile to park entrance.
