Curtis Creek Park occupies a peninsula along the shore of Milford Lake near Milford Dam. The majority of campsites feature electric and water hookups, complemented by modern flush toilets and hot showers. Onsite recreational amenities include a boat ramp, a playground, and an accessible floating fishing dock. The 15,700-acre reservoir is the largest man-made lake in Kansas, fed by the Republican River and offering 163 miles of shoreline. Nearby land attractions include the Waterfall Trail, Crystal Trail, Wildlife Viewing Tower, and the Milford Education Center and Fish Hatchery.
Getting there: Take I-70 to the 290 exit and proceed north 5 miles to 837. Continue west on 837 for 6 miles to reach the park entrance.
