Setting
Tailwater #2 Shelter is a day-use facility located in a large grassy field at the base of the Brookville Lake Dam along the Whitewater River. It features a covered picnic area equipped with electrical outlets, a water spigot, and a outdoor cooking grill. A modern indoor restroom is on site, and parking accommodates up to 98 vehicles. No overnight camping is allowed. The area serves as an access point for cold-water trout fishing, paddling on the river, and visiting the nearby Brookville Lake Visitor Center.
Getting there: From I-74 head west on Highway 52 for 15 miles to Brookville. Continue to State Route 101 North following signs to the Tailwater Recreation Area.
