Wilborn Creek Group Camp sits in an oak and hickory forest on the northern shore of Lake Shelbyville. Designed for group stays, the loop features 10 paved sites equipped with 50-amp electricity, water, and sewer hookups, plus picnic tables and grills for tent campers. The site includes a dual unisex shower facility with flush toilets and an electric picnic shelter. A boat ramp, courtesy dock, and fish cleaning station operate a mile away, granting access to the lake for catfish, crappie, and bass fishing. Sullivan Beach is a 15-minute drive from the camp.
Getting there: From Sullivan, Illinois, go west on State Route 121 for 5 miles. Turn left on County Road 5 and drive 3.5 miles, then make a right on County Road 18 and drive 0.75 miles to the campground.
