Shagbark Group Camp sits near Sandusky Cove on the western shore of Rend Lake, accommodating up to 200 campers. The forest layout features oak, hickory, and maple trees and offers electric hookups, flush toilets, and drinking water. A shower house and dump station are situated close by at North Sandusky Campground. The surrounding area provides access to the 20-mile paved Rend Lake Bike Trail, an archery complex with a 3D course, two public swimming beaches, and boat access across the 20,633-acre reservoir.
Getting there: From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west onto Route 154. Turn south onto Rend City Road and continue straight into North Sandusky Campground. Shagbark Group Area is located in the back portion of the campground.
