Dale Miller Youth Campground sits on the southeastern shore of Rend Lake, set among oak, hickory, and maple woodlands. The facility features five open-plan cabins, nine RV sites, and several tent sites, accommodating up to 200 total guests. Onsite amenities include a private beach, an enclosed electric shelter with a fireplace, a playground, a baseball field, a basketball court, and a tennis court. The 20,633-acre lake provides access to over 20 miles of paved bike trails, hunting grounds, an archery complex, a dog park, and bank fishing for crappie.
Getting there: From I-57 take take exit 71 and turn west onto Route 14. After 3 miles turn right on Rend City Road, then right again on Main Dam Road. Continue 3 miles to the camp entrance on the left.
