Swinging Bridge Campground sits at 4,000 feet in a canyon above Highway 55, shaded by ponderosa and lodgepole pines along the North Fork Payette River. The facility offers single-family sites with picnic tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, and paved roads and parking spurs. The adjacent river provides quick access for whitefish and rainbow trout fishing, as well as expert kayaking on the North Fork and whitewater rafting on neighboring sections of the river.
