French Creek Campground sits at 4,850 feet elevation on the western shore of Lake Cascade and the banks of French Creek near Donnelly, Idaho. Mixed conifers provide shade across two distinct camping areas: one on the east side of West Mountain Road closer to the water with lake views, and a hillside section on the west side where some sites require stair access from gravel parking spurs. Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water. Visitors use the site to launch powerboats, sail, windsurf, and fish for trout, salmon, bass, and perch.
