Located in a canyon shaded by ponderosa and lodgepole pines at 3,878 feet, this facility offers a single 5-site group area alongside State Highway 55. Each site features a picnic table and campfire ring, with shared vault toilets available for the loop. Sitting directly above the North Fork of the Payette River, the location serves as a hub for expert white-water kayaking, rafting, and trout fishing. Summer daytime temperatures range from 80 to 90 degrees, and guests should expect passing traffic noise due to the campground's proximity to the highway.
