Setting
Williams Lake Campground sits in a shaded Douglas-fir forest and offers nine single-family campsites for tents and RVs. Every site includes an accessible picnic table, a campfire ring with a grill, potable water, and vault toilets, though no hookups are available. Rigs and trailers are discouraged on the lower loop past site six. While the campsite itself lacks water views, a Forest Service boat dock and Williams Lake access point are located two miles away, offering fishing and boating opportunities alongside regional motorized and non-motorized trail networks.
Getting there: Take Highway 93 South of Salmon, ID for 5 miles. Turn right on Williams Creek Road and cross Shoup Bridge. Continue on Williams Creek Road for 4 miles. Turn left on Williams Lake Road and continue for 10 miles. Follow signs for campground and Forest Service boat ramp.

- Flat ground is scarce: under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
- Sal Mountain stands 3,892 ft above the map pin, 6.0 miles east.
- The Williams Lake shoreline is 0.4 mi off.
