Setting
Twin Creek Group Camping Site sits at 5,100 feet elevation along Twin Creek near its confluence with the North Fork of the Salmon River, 15 miles north of North Fork. Shaded by pine trees and brush, the site features a historic wooden pavilion, four picnic tables, a large fire ring, a large barbecue pit, additional pedestal grills, two horseshoe pits, drinking water, and a double vault toilet. There are no water, sewer, or electric hookups. Forest Trails #6108 and #6109 start directly behind the campground.
Getting there: Twin Creek Campground Group Camping Site can be accessed from two directions on Highway 93. From North Fork, Idaho, travel 15 miles north on US 93, turn left on Forest Road 156 and travel an additional .5 miles. Turn left into the Group Camping Site. From the top of Lost Trail Pass travel 8.5 miles south on US 93, turn right on Forest Road 156, travel an additional .5 miles and turn left into the Group Camping Site.
