Setting
Tower Rock Campground sits along the main Salmon River beneath a historic dark brown flint cliff formation noted by the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The facility provides single-family RV and tent-only campsites equipped with accessible picnic tables and fire rings with grills. On-site amenities include vault toilets, a picnic shelter, fishing platforms, and a boat ramp for river access. There are no hookups available. The surrounding area features Precambrian quartzite rock outcrops, the nearby Tower Pirimids formation, and regional trails for hiking and fishing.
Getting there: Take Highway 93 North of Salmon, ID for 10 miles. Campground will be on the left between the highway and the Salmon River.
