Setting
Shoup Bridge Campground sits under mature cottonwood trees along the Salmon River. This paved facility features eight shaded campsites for RVs and tents, equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water, but no hookups. On-site amenities include riverfront benches, a bicycle repair station, a boat ramp for launching rafts or tubes, and seasonal staff. The site marks the end of a 5-mile paved non-motorized pathway into the town of Salmon, with access to regional fishing, swimming, and trails.
Getting there: Take Highway 93 South for 5 miles from Salmon, ID. The campground will be on the right between the highway and the Salmon River.
