Situated along the Lewis and Clark National Backcountry Byway, this site offers four campsites near the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. The surrounding arid terrain features a Sacajawea memorial at the top of the pass. On-site activities include camping and picnicking, with access to nearby routes for hiking, biking, hunting, OHV riding, and wildlife viewing.
Getting there: Travel 23 miles southeast of Salmon, Idaho on ID 28 to Tendoy. From Tendoy, turn east and follow the Lewis and Clark Backcountry Byway 4 miles east.
