Spring Bar Campground sits along a flat stretch of the Salmon River and serves as a primary river take-out point. The facility offers 18 tent sites, a boat ramp, and fruit-bearing trees near the southern end. Most campsites include a picnic table and fire ring. Accessible picnic facilities are located just west at Allison Creek.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
Kelly Mountain stands 2,020 ft above the site, 1.6 miles east. A river runs 0.2 mi off. The nearest town, Grangeville, is 34 mi off.
