Burgdorf Guard Station features a fully renovated cabin sitting in a forested area next to open meadows at an elevation of 6,250 feet. The historic station includes a living room, kitchen, full bathroom, wood-burning stove, solar lighting, and two bedrooms each equipped with a queen bed. It serves as a launching point for local recreation, with several trails departing directly from the adjacent three-site Burgdorf Campground, including the Nethker Creek and Jeanette Creek trails. Burgdorf Hot Springs is also nearby.
