Setting
Upper Coffee Pot Campground sits at 6,300 feet among lodgepole pines along the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Sites include picnic tables, fire rings, and grills, with options for 50-amp electric hookups, gravel spurs, vault toilets, drinking water, and trash service. The river offers fly-fishing, floating, and Class III whitewater at nearby Coffee Pot Rapids. The 2.5-mile Coffee Pot Rapids Trail leaves directly from the grounds, with Mesa Falls Scenic Byway 14 miles away.
Getting there: From West Yellowstone, Montana, take Highway 20 south for 23 miles. From Ashton, Idaho, take Highway 20 north for 32 miles. Turn west onto Forest Road 130 and travel 2 miles to the campground.
