The loop features gravel roads, single and double sites—some with 50-amp electric hookups—tent pads, campfire rings, utility tables, vault toilets, drinking water, and trash service. Popular for fly-fishing, canoeing, and floating, the site sits near the Big Springs National Recreation Water Trailhead. Island Park Reservoir, Henry's Lake, and the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park are a short drive away.
Getting there: From West Yellowstone, Montana, take U.S. Highway 20 south for 22 miles, or from Ashton, Idaho, take U.S. Highway 20 north for 30 miles. The campground entrance is 1/4 mile south of Macks Inn on the west side of the highway.
