Elks Flat Campground sits at 4,400 feet in a grassy meadow surrounded by cottonwood, aspen, fir, and ponderosa pine at the base of the Trinity Mountain Range. Situated on the banks of the South Fork Boise River five miles north of Pine, Idaho, the site consists of two large group loops accommodating up to 100 people. Facilities include covered pavilions, cement site pads, picnic tables, vault toilets, and drinking water over gravel roads. River access allows for swimming, rafting, and trout fishing, with Green Creek Trail 270 starting one mile away.
